The aim of the initiative is to create incentives for children to go to school regularly and permanently.
Since one of the main factors for the low attendance is the malnutrition of the school children, we have set up school canteens. Children present now receive a free lunch every school day.

FURTHER INFORMATION ON DONATION RECEIPTS
Donations to recognised non-profit organisations such as The Opportunity Project gemeinnützige UG can be claimed against tax in Germany. Depending on the amount of the donation, either a donation receipt issued by us or a simplified donation receipt is required.

For donations exceeding an amount of 300 euros, official donation receipts will be issued and sent by us accordingly upon request or at the end of a financial year.
​
For donations up to 300 euros, a so-called simplified donation receipt in connection with your bank statement can be used as a donation receipt for submission to your tax office. The simplified donation receipt can be downloaded here as a PDF.
